- This standard specifies the type and dimensions of small diameter centering rectangular spline broaches. There are two types of broaches, the one that processes the small diameter of the internal spline with abrasion left is called the grinding broach; the one that processes the internal spline with the small diameter without the grinding left is called the non-grinding broach. This standard is suitable for processing small-diameter centering rectangular spline broaches with the centering diameter of internal splines in GB 1144, the tolerance zone code is H7, and the groove width tolerance zone code is H9 and H11.
