- Scope
- This standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacture, inspection and acceptance of steel tower vessels. This standard is applicable to self-supporting steel tower vessels with skirts whose design pressure is not greater than 35MPa, height H is greater than 10m, and the ratio of height H to average diameter D is greater than 5. This standard does not apply to the following tower vessels: a) Tower vessels with pulling devices; b) Row towers or tower groups integrated by operating platforms; c) Tower vessels with jackets.
