- This standard specifies the surface cleanliness, inspection methods and assessment rules of air separation equipment. This standard applies to the cleanliness of the surfaces of parts and components that are in contact with oxygen in air separation equipment and that dirt may be brought into the surfaces of parts and components that are in contact with oxygen during the operation of the equipment.
