- This standard specifies aluminum plates with a design pressure not greater than 6.3 MPa and a design temperature of -270 to 150°C that are manufactured by salt bath brazing or vacuum brazing for gas separation and liquefaction equipment, petrochemical equipment, and mechanical power devices. Technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of fin heat exchangers. This standard applies to aluminum plate-fin heat exchangers. Heat exchangers manufactured using other brazing processes can also be followed.
