- This standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacturing, inspection, acceptance, installation, use and maintenance of aluminum plate-fin heat exchangers. This standard applies to heat exchangers with design pressures not greater than 8.0MPa. Heat exchangers with a design pressure greater than 8.0MPa can be designed and manufactured with reference to this standard with the buyer's consent. The applicable design temperature range of this standard is -269°C ~ -200°C. This standard applies to heat exchangers used in air separation and liquefaction equipment, natural gas processing and liquefaction, petrochemical industry and mechanical power equipment.
