Scope

This standard specifies the categories, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage and transportation requirements for XM16 room temperature vulcanizing polysulfide sealant products. This standard applies to aircraft cockpits, fuselages and other metal riveting, screw joints, structural sealing and anti-corrosion, and repair of soft fuel tanks. The operating temperature range in air media is -55°C ~ +130°C.
