Scope

This standard applies to XM-16 sealant formulated based on liquid polysulfide rubber. This sealant has good aging resistance, water resistance and fuel stability, and has good adhesion to metal. It can be used for repairing seals and soft fuel tanks in aircraft cockpits, fuselages and other parts. The operating temperature range in air medium is -50~+130℃.
