- This standard specifies the technical requirements, hardened layer depth, and hardness of rolling bearing parts made of carbon structural steels such as 08, 10, 15, and 20 (see Appendix A for foreign brands) and alloy structural steels such as 15CrMo and 20CrMo after carbonitriding heat treatment. Measurement and inspection procedures for the microstructure of carbonitrided layers. This standard is applicable to the above-mentioned carbon structural steel and alloy structural steel as well as low carbon steel cages and needle roller bearing stamped outer rings (thin-walled tensile outer rings) that can meet the requirements of this standard.
