- This standard specifies the general principles for sample processing and inspection methods for import and export industrial glycerin. This standard is applicable to the analysis of crude or refined glycerol with a glycerin content greater than 75% (m/m). This standard involves the following items: a) Determination of acidity or alkalinity; b) Determination of sulfated ash; c) Sampling; d) Determination of moisture; e) Determination of ash; f) Determination of density at 20°C (purified glycerin) ; g) Determination of arsenic; h) Determination of glycerol content.
