- This standard specifies the basic functions, main technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, environmental and general requirements of digital voice recorders for railway transportation communications. This standard applies to the product design, manufacturing, inspection, acceptance, use and maintenance of digital voice recorders. The recorder is only used to record call voice and corresponding time during railway transportation operations, dispatching and command work, and can also be used to supervise the quality of public security, firefighting, and telephone services.
