Scope

This standard applies to analog DC voltage signals used to transmit information between system components in industrial process measurement and control systems. Contrary to the analog DC current signal specified in GB/T 3369.1-2008, the analog DC voltage signal specified in this section should not be used for transmission over long distances. This standard does not apply to signals used entirely within a component.
