Scope

Testing in conformity with this standard is intended to determine the ability of the FIBC to resist pressure. Since FIBC are often stowed in several layers in cargo holds, an important property is that they do not burst under this type of load. Testing is carried out by pressing the FIBC between the piates of a compression testing appliance.
