1 This European Standard specifies capacities of glass and round rigid metal containers for the packaging of preserves (and semi-preserves) of vegetable products (fruit, vegetables, toma-toes, potatoes) for human consumption.
2 Excluded from this standard are containers for pre-packaging jams, marmalades, chestnut pa-ste, soups, sauces, baby foods, fruit and vegetable juices and all frozen and dried vegetable pro-ducts. Also excluded are vent-hole and "a decollage" metal containers.
