The code together with DS 409 and DS 410 forms the basis for the design and construction of structures of prefabricated supporting building elements based on cellular plastics including sandwich elements with a structural core of cellular plastic, where the cellular material adds to the strength of the element by carrying loads and transferring forces. The code lays down the functional terms that must be observed with a view to a proper of desired security and quality.
