Scope
This standard specifies the scope, normative reference documents, terms and definitions, specifications, grades and markings, raw materials, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, storage and transportation of autoclaved fly ash bricks. This standard applies to bricks made from fly ash, quicklime (or calcium carbide slag), and slag (or sand) as the main raw materials through blank preparation, pressing and autoclaving. The autoclaved fly ash bricks specified in this standard can be used for walls and foundations of industrial and civil buildings.
