Scope
This standard specifies the professional fire protection design requirements for the general layout, processes, construction, and public works of uranium conversion plants. This standard applies to the fire protection design of the main production facilities, nuclear auxiliary facilities and supporting public works of newly built, renovated and expanded uranium conversion plants. This standard is not currently applicable to the re-conversion project of spent fuel reprocessing in uranium conversion plants to recover uranium.
