This standard specifies the test procedures and documentation requirements for the qualification of nuclear grade graphite sealing gaskets in nuclear power plants using test methods. This standard is applicable to the identification of graphite sealing gaskets (hereinafter referred to as gaskets) for pipe flanges and equipment flanges of nuclear-level process systems in nuclear power plants. The typical structure of the gasket is shown in Figure 1.
