Scope
This standard stipulates the classification and code, order content, size, shape, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificates of 1J87 and 1J88 iron-nickel soft magnetic alloys. This standard is applicable to 1J87 and 1J88 alloy cold-rolled strips (hereinafter referred to as alloy strips) for the production of wear-resistant magnetic components, such as: audio magnetic head sensor chips, ATM magnetic heads, money detector magnetic heads, special transformers and sensors components etc.
