Scope

This standard specifies the symbols and their meanings, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, acceptance and storage of bonded abrasives. This standard applies to vitrified bond, resin bond, fiber-reinforced resin bond, rubber bond, reinforced rubber bond, magnesite bond and plastic bond for grinding wheels, grinding heads, grinding stones and sand tiles. For bonded abrasive tools with separate product standards, follow the provisions of the separate product standards.
