This standard specifies the terms and definitions, identification, materials, general technical requirements, physical characteristics, test methods, inspection rules, and markings of polyamide multifilament double-braided structural ropes (hereinafter referred to as: double-braided ropes). This standard is applicable to ropes with a double-layer braided structure made of polyamide multifilament as raw material, with a linear density of 20.4 ktex to 37 590 ktex and a rope code of 6 to 240.
