Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, methods and evaluation standards for measuring DC voltage applied to the hand-wrapped insulation of generator stator windings. This standard is applicable to water-cooled turbine generators whose stator windings are hand-wrap insulated. Other types of generators may refer to this standard.
