This standard specifies the composition, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of overhead transmission line ground conductor icing monitoring devices. This standard is applicable to ice-covering monitoring devices for ground conductors in AC and DC overhead transmission lines with voltage levels of 110 (66) kV and above. Other ice-covering monitoring devices in overhead transmission lines can be implemented as a reference.
