Scope
This standard specifies a method for determining the ISO sensitivity of color negative camera films used for still photography. Color negatives obtained from these films are used primarily to make reflective color photographs, but can also be used to make color transparencies. The sensitivity obtained by applying this standard can be used in exposure meters, exposure calculators and exposure comparison tables during actual shooting. This standard does not apply to color negative films used in cinematography, aerial photography and the production of intermediate negatives.
