Scope

This standard specifies the performance and test methods of automatically controlled brachytherapy post-installation equipment radiotherapy planning systems (hereinafter referred to as treatment planning systems). This standard applies to treatment planning systems using Ir radioactive post-loaded treatment sources. For sources using other post-installed treatment sources or other packaging methods, refer to this standard.
