Scope
This part of ISO 4628 specifies a method for evaluating the degree of peeling of coatings by comparison with images. ISO 4628-1 specifies a system for evaluating the amount and magnitude of coating damage and the intensity of changes in the appearance of coatings and contains the general principles of the evaluation system. This system is particularly intended for damage caused by aging and weathering and for uniform changes such as color changes, for example yellowing.
