Scope

This standard specifies the type, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, acceptance rules, safety rules, markings, packaging, transportation and storage of circular stockyard stackers and reclaimers (hereinafter referred to as stackers and reclaimers). This standard applies to stacker and reclaimer equipment in circular material yards, and serves as the basis for the design, manufacture, installation, inspection, acceptance and use of stacker and reclaimer. Other forms of stackers and reclaimers may refer to this standard.
