This part of ISO 6259 specifies a method for determining the tensile properties of polyolefin pipes (polyethylene, cross-linked polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene), including the following properties: stress at yield point; Elongation at break. The relevant basic specifications are set out in informative appendices A to D of this part of ISO 6259 for informational purposes only.
