- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, codes, model specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of electronically controlled silicone oil fan clutches for internal combustion engines. This standard applies to electronically controlled silicone oil fan clutches (hereinafter referred to as fan clutches) for reciprocating internal combustion engines whose transmission torque is not greater than 200N·m.
