Scope

This part of SN/T 1414 specifies the safety testing requirements and corresponding test methods for portable lithium-ion batteries. This section applies to safety testing of portable lithium-ion batteries. This section does not apply to the testing of lithium battery packs and lithium-ion power batteries.
