Scope

This standard specifies the structural type and basic dimensions, requirements, inspection methods, performance testing, marking and packaging of spline gear grinding cutters. This standard applies to spline gear cutters for processing splines with a module less than or equal to 2 mm specified in GB/T 3478 (all parts). Spline gear grinding cutters for splines not specified in GB/T 3478 (all parts) can be used as a reference.
