This standard specifies the technical requirements for RT-nPCR methods for detecting porcine transmis ible gastroenteritis virus. This standard is applicable to the detection of nucleic acid of porcine transmis ible gastroenteritis virus in fresh feces, small intestinal tis ue and intestinal contents and cell cultures of pigs suspected of being infected with porcine transmis ible gastroenteritis virus. It can be used as a standard for porcine transmis ible gastroenteritis virus. Ancillary diagnostic methods and identification of porcine transmis ible gastroenteritis virus in cell culture.
