Scope: This standard specifies the classification, marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation and storage of marine drinking water purification devices (hereinafter referred to as purification devices). This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of purification devices with a working pressure of 0.2 MPa to 0.6 MPa, which use drinking water stored in fresh water tanks as the inflow on ships and offshore platforms.
