Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of the freezing point of petroleum products. This standard applies to petroleum products such as liquid fuels (such as diesel and biodiesel blended fuels) and lubricating oils. The automatic micro-condensation point tester in this standard is only suitable for the determination of diesel fraction samples without additives.
