Scope
This part specifies the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements, including measurements, for mobile stations (MS) and their ancillary equipment transmitting and receiving voice and/or data for Phase 1 and Phase 2 GSM 900MHz and DCS 1800MHz digital cellular communications systems. Method, frequency range, limits and performance criteria. This section applies to portable and vehicle-mounted mobile stations, as well as to those mobile stations that are powered by power and used in fixed locations. It also applies to data terminal equipment of various GSM 900MHz and DCS 1800MHz digital cellular communication systems.
