Scope

This document specifies test methods for assessing the resistance of footwear to cutting by hand-held chainsaws. This document is applicable only to footwear with integral protection. NOTE Methods for testing other forms of foot and leg protection (e.g. gaiters) against hand-held chainsaws are covered in other parts of the ISO 11393 series.
