Scope

This standard specifies the classification, grade, order content, size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certification of non-alloy steel and alloy structural steel for cold heading and cold extrusion books etc. This standard applies to hot-rolled wire rods with a nominal diameter of 5.0 mm to 60 mm and hot-rolled round steel with a nominal diameter of 12 mm to 100 mm (hereinafter referred to as steel).
