- Scope
- This standard specifies two analysis methods for glass fiber resistance to chemical media: -- Method A: mass loss rate method; -- Method B: mass loss per unit surface area method. This standard is applicable to the analysis of chemical medium resistance properties of glass fibers such as alkali-free, medium-alkali, alkali-resistant, and high-strength. Other fibers can also be used as a reference.
