Scope

"Since improper welding on car components can impermissibly change or reverse the mechanical-technological properties of the steels used, which can also endanger the traffic safety of passenger cars, the leaflet of the DVS working group "Welding in road vehicle construction" states important requirements for the company and its personnel. The sheet provides information on how to assess the weldability of components and lists the most important requirements for carrying out welding work. In addition, essential rules for proper repair welding and options are given
