Scope

The guideline provides the processor of semi-finished thermoplastic materials and the user of the products with instructions for testing welded connections. The choice of the appropriate test method(s) must be made according to the respective design and application. Part 1 lists the requirements of the tests covered in detail in parts 2 to 5 of the directive.
