Scope

This supplement describes general, qualitative and safety-relevant requirements for devices and the necessary accessories for hot gas drawing and hot gas fan welding of thermoplastics. It applies to the device types mentioned in DVS 2207-3 Supplement 3 with and without their own hot gas supply as well as controlled or regulated devices and is intended to ensure that the required quality of the weld seams is achieved when the equipment is operated and handled properly.
