Scope
This part of GB/T 26645 specifies the method of analyzing particle size distribution by weighing the mass of liquid gravity sedimentation particles. This method directly measures the mass of the particles and gives the particle size distribution of the equivalent spherical diameter. The particle size of typical samples measured by liquid gravity sedimentation method ranges from 1 μm to 100 μm, and the sedimentation condition that the Reynolds coefficient is not greater than 0.25 should be met.
