Scope
This standard specifies a common access profile framework for specifying the needs and capabilities of users, computing systems, and their environments, including access supported by assistive technologies, providing the basis for identifying and addressing cross-platform accessibility issues in a standardized manner. This standard applies to the assessment of the accessibility of existing systems for specific users in specific environments.
