This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and marking, storage and transportation of positive thermal CTP plates for ultraviolet curing (UV) inks. This standard applies to UV-resistant ink positive-image heat-sensitive CTP plates made of an aluminum plate base as a support and coated with a heat-sensitive photolayer. This plate is used for plate making using a computer-to-plate-setting machine with a laser light source of 830 nm wavelength.
