Scope

This standard specifies the test method for the activity of CO dehydrogenation catalysts used in urea synthesis. This standard applies to catalysts made of platinum, palladium or platinum-palladium loaded with alumina as a carrier for removing hydrogen from carbon dioxide used for the synthesis of urea, as well as hydrogen from high-purity gases and other chemical feed gases.
