GB/T 35083.2-2018 Plain bearings—Testing of the tribological behaviour of bearing materials—Part 2: Testing of polymer-based bearing materials (English Version)
This part of GB/T 35083 specifies the tribological tests of polymer bearing materials for sliding bearings under specific working conditions, such as test methods for load capacity, sliding speed and temperature, with or without lubrication, etc. Through the test results, the tribological performance data of the metal-polymer or polymer-polymer friction pair can be obtained. The purpose of this standard is to obtain reproducible measurements of combinations of polymer bearing materials for plain bearings and their counterpart materials under specified and clearly defined test conditions, both without lubrication (dry friction surface) and with lubrication (boundary lubrication). The obtained friction and wear values. The test results are only useful for practical application if all the influencing parameters are the same. The more the test conditions deviate from the actual application, the higher the uncertainty of the applicability of the test results.
