Scope

This standard specifies the structure, model and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, labels, packaging, storage and transportation of narrow V-belts for general transmission (hereinafter referred to as "narrow V-belts"). This standard applies to high-speed and high-power mechanical transmission belts, and also to general power transmission belts.
