This part of ISO 12625 specifies a test method for determining the resistance to mechanical penetration (bursting strength) of tissue paper and tissue products. There are currently two types of jigs on the market with two different diameters. One with a diameter of 50 mm and the other with 89 mm. This part of ISO 12625 is for a 50 mm jig that allows all sizes of average samples of a tissue paper and tissue product to be measured and is consistent with ISO 12625-11.
