This International Standard specifies requirements for three types of textile-reinforced thermoplastic hoses and hose assemblies with a nominal size of 3.2 to 25. Depending on the electrical conductivity requirements, each type is divided into two classes. They are intended for use with the water-based hydraulic fluids HFC, HFAE, HFAS and HFB specified in ISO 6743-4 in a temperature range of 0 °C to +60 °C and the oil-based hydraulic fluids HH, HL, specified in ISO 6743-4. HM, HR and HV suitable in a temperature range from -40 °C to +100 °C. This International Standard does not contain any requirements for end fittings. It is limited to the performance of hoses and hose lines. NOTE Operating temperatures above 100°C can significantly shorten the life of the hose.
