The scope of this ECSS standard is limited to describing the key elements of project planning and implementation and identifying the high-level requirements and products that enable cohesive and integrated project planning through the three ECSS branches. If other ECSS standards for management, engineering or product assurance contain more specific and detailed project planning requirements, references will be provided where these can be found within the ECSS system. This standard can be adapted to specific characteristics and requirements of a space project in accordance with ECSS-S-ST-00.
