- This standard specifies the coding rules of traditional Chinese medicine, and classifies 1219 kinds of Chinese medicinal materials, 1603 flavors of Chinese herbal decoction pieces, 1364 flavors of traditional Chinese medicine formula granules, 1337 flavors of traditional Chinese medicine superfine decoction pieces, and 1337 flavors of traditional Chinese medicine superfine formula granules, etc. with encoding. This standard applies to the classification and coding of Chinese herbal medicines, herbal medicines, Chinese herbal medicines, Chinese medicine formula granules, Chinese medicine superfine decoction pieces, and Chinese medicine superfine formula granules. Supply chain (logistics), statistical information processing, information exchange and interconnection. This standard does not apply to the coding of Chinese patent medicines.
